Hello, and thank you for your interest in our swimming lessons. My name is Sandy, and teaching swimming has been a lifelong passion of mine. As a proud grandmother of five, I have always been deeply involved in helping children grow, learn, and build confidence. I have personally taught my two older grandchildren how to swim, and both went on to compete from age seven through their senior year of high school. One of them, Abbi, now works alongside me as a lifeguard, swim instructor, and swim team coach, helping prepare our more advanced swimmers for competitive teams. I also have years of experience teaching at the YMCA, and both Abbi and I are CPR and First Aid certified. Safety is always our highest priority.
While we work with swimmers of all ages and skill levels, my specialty is teaching adults and helping them feel comfortable and confident in the water. I believe every student learns differently, and we are committed to creating a supportive, encouraging environment where each swimmer can progress at their own pace. Whether your goal is basic water safety, improving technique, or preparing for swim team, we are dedicated to helping you achieve it.
